Voldemort was gone. The news had traveled fast. At first, people were in disbelief. How could a 17 year old boy lead a battle that had vanquished the darkest force the world has ever seen? A few days after the Battle of Hogwarts people began to come out of hiding. They were resistant at first, but once the Daily Prophet began publication after a brief hiatus, news spread like wild fire. The streets were filled with celebration. Rumor was a national holiday would be made in the name of Harry Potter. Once the celebrations began to die down, a new question arose. How would they rebuild?
Hogwarts was in shambles. The goblins in charge of Gringotts had been massacred. The Ministry of Magic was in complete disarray. At the rate things were moving, the Wizarding World would be plunged into a state of anarchy. Eyes turned towards the Chosen One. A few radicals believed he should take over and become the Minister of Magic. After his victory, it became hard to view the poor boy as just a boy of 17. Molly Weasley, stepping into her maternal shoes, decided it would be best to pull the trio out of the spotlight. They were still children in her eyes and needed to experience their youth. The world around them wanted them to grow up far too quickly.
In a rash decision, the remaining Order of the Phoenix members met up and agreed. Those who had fought deserve a life of solitude. They did their share for the sake of the Wizarding World and now it was others' turns to step forward. With that, the survivors of the battle set off to find a home elsewhere. A place where no one knew their names and began to live a quiet life.
This sudden move struck a chord with members of the wizarding community. While these famed people fought for their freedom, the community just hid and let evil take control. No more! It is now their turn to step forward and rebuild what Voldemort had destroyed. New faces will lead the Wizarding World into an era of peace.
